Thanks very much for the comment, yes we have tested the Husqvarna 420 Automower and really loved it. We are sure the Husqvarna 450x is amazing as well, but also is a step up in price. For the average lawn we also felt the Husqvarna Automower 220AC Robotic Lawn Mower was enough lawn mower for most people.

I am a Husqvarna certified tech. I also work for a full servicing dealer where we install quite a few Automowers. I noticed that you don’t have the model 450X on here. I think that your list could be adjusted a bit, if you research this model. I have installed one for a customer that works over 2.5 acres without any signal booster. His yard has some slope to it and is laid out quite large. There has been no issues with it for 2 years. Which Automower comes with a 4 year warranty. GPS assisted and can be controlled with a smart phone. The machine it’s self can do way more that what its limitations are noted on any user manual when it is installed by the right person.

I’ve owned a LawnBott LB300EL for about two years. I’m generally disappointed by the product. The mower could probably work well on a plot smaller than the advertised area particularly if it were flat and even. The manufacturer and dealers have over-promised the mowers abilities to handle slopes and navigate independently. I find the device needs an inordinate level of attention. It tends to gravitate to the lower levels of my property and ignore the higher parts of several gentle slopes. More frustrating is that the mower is unable to maintain the lawn during the peak of summer. It just can’t keep up with the growth rate and then the lawn requires manual mowing. When I’ve contacted my dealer I’ve found their understanding of the machine to be inept and their primary interest to be the sale of one accessory or another.
